The CAA’s GA pages here have information on general aviation, training, licenses etc. Access the CAA’s online portal here. You need to Register, then request a Service (such as Medical, PPL e-exams, e-Licensing). An email will confirm that you have been approved for a service; you then need to activate that service before using it. Allow several days for approvals to take effect! There is a database where you can search for Medical Examiners.
Andrewsfield Aviation Andrewsfield is where I do most of my instructing. Andrewsfield offers PPL, IR(R), CPL, FI, IRI and FE training. We have a friendly café/restaurant. Pay us a visit (we are PPR).

For club members, Andrewsfield runs the Flight Levels scheme, a CAA approved PROUD scheme to encourage pilots to build their skills.  The Bronze level is aimed at new(ish) PPL’s and can be achieved in a modest amount of flying over 1-2 years. The scheme is unique in offering members a discount on flying costs. Bronze gets you a 5% discount; the Silver, Gold and Diamond levels are more challenging, with commensurately higher rewards.

PPL/IR Europe is open to any pilot interested in operating light aircraft under IFR in Europe. Its 400+ members are mostly PPL’s with full Instrument Ratings or the UK IRR rating. Some members are still working on an instrument rating. They run occasional courses, publish a small number of books and manuals, and have an active forum where advice can be sought or offered
GASCo is focussed on GA safety. It is funded by pilot subscriptions, its member organisations, and aviation authorities. GASCo runs regular safety seminars, as well as publishing online and paper versions of its Flight Safety magazine. Good value at £16 per year.
AOPA is a Community for anyone with an interest in GA activities including Pilots, Instructors, Students, Aircraft Owners, Airfield Operators, Maintainers, Flying Schools or Clubs. Its primary function is to lobby, particularly with regulators, and ensure that GA can enjoy freedom to fly inexpensively, with appropriate regulation, with fair access to airspace and airfields.
Pilot Workshops is a US Company which produces training materials. You can sign up for free weekly Tips by email. Some are US specific but the majority are of general relevance. I have used their IFR training modules and also their user-friendly GPS manuals.
